The Psychedelic League was formed to address a glaring problem — local governments have insufficient information about emerging state-regulated psychedelic programs and the dramatic impact that psychedelic businesses can have on the health and wellness of their communities.

Joseph M. Shapiro, Esq. recognized this probem through his work as an attorney representing cannabis businesses that routinely ran into issues with their host communities stemming from a lack of information about that emerging industry.

Sara T. Price BSN, RN, NC-BC recognized this problem from within the healthcare system during her years of experience caring for patients who did not have access to the healing benefits of psychedelic therapies within their own communities.

Joseph and Sara formed the Psychedelic League to facilitate conversations between local governments and reputable psychedelic-business experts, and to produce non-partisan, real-world insights about psychedelic businesses tailored to local leaders across the county.

They’re dedicated to addressing the problem that brought them together for all states with emerging state-regulated psychedelic programs — including New Jersey, Colorado, and beyond.
